TIP TIME: Adding Durability
You’ve worked hard on your fabric craft project, but how do you know it will stand the test of time?
Here are a couple of products you can apply to ensure your fabric wreath makes it to the next season!
We found most pieces in our fabric wreath tutorial held in place well. There were a few stubborn squares where we added either a dab of glue or a pin. These spots were at the seam where the wreath joins.
Use glue, but make sure it’s the right one

Before poking your fabric square into the foam wreath add a small amount of glue. This will secure it into the foam form. Make sure to check that the glue you have on hand is compatible with foam because not all can be used. Avoid high temperature glue, which could melt the foam as well as solvent based glues which can dissolve and break down the foam.
Use metal

After you’ve added the fabric square, secure it with a small metal pin. This allows the material to be secured in place and the pin holds the wreath backing tightly as it is inserted.
